Paper Dolls with Pamela Hastings

Animated messengers of your greetings, Paper Dolls hop, leap, and dance. Fiber arts without sewing. Collage art in human form. Working intuitively with all those gorgeous fibers, papers, rubber stamps, threads, and embellishments you've been collecting we'll play to stretch the boundaries of the old-fashioned image of paper dolls, No experience necessary. Paper dolls may be used as a jumping off point for a fabric design.

Materials: Students Bring: paper scissors, an empty cereal box or poster board, acrylic gel medium, any style paper fasteners or brads, a cheap 1" flat brush, a small collection of papers and images to share, a magazine to cut up, your imagination
